About The Project

Venus Stratum is a commercial complex, located right in the centre of one of Ahmedabad's most bustling areas, Nehrunagar. This project was deemed as the city's next premium business hub, offering spacious and modern office spaces and showrooms for businesses and entrepreneurs. Heritage Infraspace was tasked with construction of a 5-storey diaphragm wall for the structure, the first and only one in the city. This project was completed within the deadline despite working in a demanding environment.

Challenges faced

  • An excavation of up to 27 meters was to be done on dense soil.
  • After 24 meters, we hit hard stratum, making it difficult to dig further.
  • Nehrunagar is a hub of activity, with a major traffic circle nearby and many business and residential structures in close proximity to the site.

Solutions provided

  • Despite the high density of the soil, our trained teams armed with our modern excavators were able to dig through with ease.
  • After regular excavation of upto 24 meters, Jint SG-35 was used to cut the hard stratum of the soil.
  • The challenging environment and surroundings didn’t deter the teams from working tirelessly, and completing the project in 49 days.
